"This novel has no apocalyptic threats, no gunfights or car chases; it just lets you come along on a thoughtful recounting of meaningful life events, fun times and hanging out with people who consistently try to do the right thing for neighbors near and far. I stayed up past my bedtime, enjoyed every minute, and came away with some of the blessing myself."
2. " Music and Software

"This wonderful book starts with a varied, increasingly deep description of Hack's immersion in music in general, piano in particular. He starts with classical and then adds various American idioms such as jazz. He is led ever deeper by his gifted teacher, who is also a composer. The descriptions of music and its experience are deep without being particularly technical, and ring true to my experience of it. Hack later goes on to be a 10X programmer, leveraging the same deep immersion into the world of software. The plot involves trying to reimburse the victims of scammers, and eventually leads Hack to realize the depth of his gratitude to his teachers. He goes on a mission to express his gratitude to them, which involves finding the people. This ending is very touching."

"Loved the story. Learned that Hack has a way better musical education than I ever expected. Loved Henry, Hack's musical mentor."
